My name is…..Jamenda Whitehead, Atlanta wedding photographer and owner of Jam & Co Studios. I have been in the wedding industry since 2018, capturing the most amazing moments, and serving couples in Atlanta, Georgia, Cabo, Savannah, Miami, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit, or where ever your destination wedding takes me. Couples who work with me value stunning visuals and the art of capturing your moments, want a photographer who can pose, and make you look effortlessly amazing, and someone who's there to help you make the most of your wedding day.
A little about me outside of wedding season: I direct the gospel choir at my alma mater, Agnes Scott College, most Wednesday nights. I'm in the gym enough to keep my knees happy. I'm always behind on a TV show. And I will detour for a good craft cocktail spot, no question. Just so you know who's showing up on your wedding day, and not just what's on my camera.

My sister, Janeen, is our lead videographer. On wedding where couples book both photo and video, we're on site together from getting ready images through the last dance, working the day as a team who already knows how to read each other without saying much.
Janeen came on board in 2021 for her very first wedding, a soft launch of video services for couples who hadn't booked a videographer of their own. She has a video editing degree from Georgia State, and I figured, if she could edit video, she could capture it too. We officially launched videography services alongside our rebrand from JGraced Photography to JAM&CO Studios, and we've been photographing and filming weddings together ever since.
Outside of wedding season, Janeen works a corporate job and spends her free time painting, working through puzzles,a nd climbing Stone Mountain. She's an artist at heart, which shows up in the way she frames a wedding day on video.

Jam is a nickname I picked up while playing basketball in college, and it just kinda stuck. I've found that on wedding day "JAmenda" can easily be mispronounced. but when I enter the bride or groom suite and say "hi guys, my name is jam, not jelly but jam" it instantly clicks and people remember throughout the day
Yes, we currently reserve our videography services only for couples who book photography. If you decide to add video on later we can update your collection to have Janeen onsite for your day
