CallanwoldE Fine Arts Center Wedding

One of the most perfect days for an absolutely amazing couple! Dominique and David's wedding day at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia, was an honor to capture, as this California-based couple celebrated with family and friends back here in the South.

While they now call California home—where David works in tech and Dominique works at the CDC—their love story is deeply rooted in Georgia. They originally met right here in Atlanta during the pandemic, sharing a memorable first date on the Silver Comet Trail. Getting to revisit that trail (and stop by the iconic OK Cafe!) for their engagement session made capturing their wedding day feel like the ultimate full-circle moment.

Callanwolde Fine Arts Wedding: Dominique & David’s Joyful Atlanta Celebration

The day started off with clear blue skies and a room full of anticipation. Dominique was dressed in a gorgeous, off-the-shoulder lace Winnie Couture gown, perfectly complimented with an elegant updo and a soft glam makeup look.

Before heading to the ceremony, Dominique shared a special first look with her dad and her bridesmaids. To say her bridal party brought the hype would be an understatement! The bridesmaids, stunning in mint green dresses from Birdy Grey, gave absolute energy the second they saw her. Dominique was all smiles all day, and that energy set the tone for everything to come. The groom and groomsmen were equally sharp, dressed in classic black suits and ties.

As the afternoon progressed, summer rain rolled in, allowing us to pivot to the venue's excellent contingency plans. Moving the celebration entirely indoors for the evening didn't dampen the mood for a second—in fact, it made the historic atmosphere of the mansion feel even more intimate.

The couple wrote their own personal vows, which had their families and guests crying tears of joy. Listening to them pledge their commitment to each other, there was a beautiful balance of laughter, deep emotion, and genuine love in the room. To seal the ceremony, Dominique and David jumped the broom before heading back down the aisle as husband and wife through a lively indoor bubble exit.

The reception ballroom was beautifully set, featuring breathtaking florals towering over and framing the estate table, ensuring full blooms were visible for every guest to see.
After a wonderful dinner, the energy shifted right back into high gear. The couple and their guests enjoyed the sounds of DJ Tay on the one's and two's, dancing the evening away without a care in the world. The night wrapped up with a spectacular grand exit, as family and friends sent the newlyweds off in a classic Rolls Royce.
Even with a little Atlanta rain, this Callanwolde Fine Arts wedding was flawless from beginning to end. The pictures perfectly capture the pure, unfiltered joy experienced that day, and I am so grateful to have been the one to document it.
